Description

Enjoy your Saturday with a late morning community building walk! In partnership with the Lee Conservation Commission White Pine Programs’ Naturalist-Educators will guide this stroll through Little River Park. Piney staff will activate curiosity for participants of all ages as we witness the change of the seasons in the forest. From listening and looking for birds, to hoping for some spring ephemeral blossoms, slowing down to connect with nature makes your weekend feel longer.  Join us and gain additional skills to help you feel comfortable in the wilderness by practicing reading a map and using a compass. Explore basic orienteering skills while enjoying time outdoors with others as the weather warms. Pre-registration is required for this free event, and optional tax-deductible donations are encouraged.
